Enjoy The Beaches
One good thing about CamNorte is that there is a good beach near you wherever you are staying, namely San Jose (Talisay), Maculabo and Pulang Daga (Paracale), Cayucyucan (Mercedes) and Mangcamagong (Basud). San Jose Beach is adjacent to Bagasbas that it is also an alternative surfing spot. Sunsets in Pulang Daga with its varying hues of red, orange and blue splashed in the sky make for a spectacular experience. Cayucyucan’s shallow waters make it the most child-friendly beach in the province. With good accommodations, it is a very good jump-off point to Siete Pecados. Mangcamagong, with mountain ranges as a backdrop, makes one feel closer to nature.

Learn To Surf
The mile-long stretch of Bagasbas Beach in Daet is a top destination for beginners and pro surfers because of its consistent waves the whole-year round, making it the country’s first surfing spot and the world’s 62nd. Its sandy bottom and shallow waters make it safe for surfers. Since Daet is just 6-7 hours by bus from Manila, it is also cheaper to get there compared to other popular but farther surfing spots.
